Preparing for a baby is exciting — but it can also feel overwhelming when you realize how many things you might need. From strollers to baby clothes, carriers to nursing gear, the list is long. Easy stores to start with…
These were the first 3 go-to stores for me to inspect products because I was able to check on their websites on brand and product availabilities beforehand. I like going to the store knowing that I get to see the brands I want to test out prior to purchase.
1. BabyOne
Big store locations both in Switzerland and across the border in Germany – price difference is pretty big if you ask me. So it was great to go and see the brands of strollers we wanted to test out, such as Bugaboo, Joolz, Stokke and Masi Cosi. There were plenty of brands we didn’t see in other stores too. They have some great discounts and combo packages, so if you’re keen to test drive a few items and have direct questions of product compatibility then this is a good place to start.
2. 4MyBaby
Similarly to BabyOne, I used 4MyBaby for product price comparisons as well. They just have good digital presence and would usually be the first website to pop up on your searches – so its easy to see. I have no specific comments on this store as I specifically only used it for product trials and not for purchase. If this store happens to be close to your location then its a good win to just go and physically check out the products. Their online store seem to also offer some great prices for various combos and packages.
3. BabyWalz
Like the other 2 websites above, I used BabyWalz as another product and price comparison site for specific brands. Their user interface is easy and experience wise on the website is straight to the point. I believe they do have few physical stores around, one that I have seen was in Baden area (Canton Aargau). I have not specifically visited the store but I enjoy look at some of the brands of products offered on their website. I’d say their display of products seem to follow a calming neutral beige palate of colours and gives a bit of a Scandinavian brand vibe.
